Traditionel brug: Kaffebønnerne er blevet tygget for at opnå den opløftende effekt, længe før at man fandt på at brygge kaffe.

Medicinske egenskaber: Koffeinen, som er det mest aktive stof i kaffen, virker opløftende på vores energi. Det forklarer også, hvorfor mange af os stoler på morgenkaffen for at undgå at gå rundt som omvandrende zombier. Isoleret set kan koffein være giftigt for kroppen, men alle de naturligt forekommende indholdsstoffer, der ellers findes i kaffe, virker i synergi med hinanden, og det neutraliserer koffeinet og påvirker optagelsen af koffein i kroppen.

Anvendelse: Der er en stor tradition for at drikke kaffe i store dele af verdenen. Kaffens smag kan også udnyttes i madretter, men den er mest elsket i det søde køkken.

Medicinal properties: Caffeine, which is the most active ingredient in coffee, has an uplifting effect on our energy. It also explains why many of us rely on the morning coffee to avoid being like zombies all day. Isolated caffeine can be toxic to the body, but all of the other ingredients that are otherwise found in coffee, act in synergy with one another, and that neutralizes the caffeine and interfere with the absorption of caffeine in the body.

Usage: There is a great tradition to drink coffee in many parts of the world. The coffee’s taste can also be used in dishes, but it is most loved in the sweet kitchen.
