Traditionel brug: Har været brugt til at lindre forkølelse og fordøjelsesproblemer.

Medicinske egenskaber: Kanel kommer fra inderbarken af kaneltræet. Selvom den bedst er kendt fra kanelsneglen og risengrøden, så har den også sin berettigelse indenfor naturmedicinen, for den er netop god ved fordøjelsen, men har også en eminent evne til at stabilisere blodsukkeret.

Anvendelse: Drys den på din havregrød, din skyr og din kaffe. Put den i din smoothie, dit brød og din dressing. Kun fantasien sætter grænser.

Medicinal properties: Cinnamon comes from the inner bark of cinnamon tree. Although its is best known from cinnamon buns and christmas bakery, it also has its place within natural medicine, for it is good to digestion, but also has an eminent ability to stabilize the blood sugar levels.

Usage: Sprinkle it on your oatmeal, your yoghurt and your coffee. Put it in your smoothie, your bread and your dressing. Use is limited only by imagination.
